SERV H&B went operational on Saturday 10 January 2009 providing a blood running service for Bedford Hospital. We are also NOW providing a service to the Lister Hospital in Stevenage and the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Welwyn Garden City having gone live to both on the 24th of August 2009. It is hoped that the Luton and Dunstable Hospital will come on board early in 2010.

SERV H&B currently has achieved its goal of recruiting 100 members, 2 weeks after we intended by Christmas. Most are riders, but we also have car drivers, people acting as Controllers, they're job is to take our requests from the hospitals and dispatch the riders/drivers and we also need fundraisers and we are currently looking for a major sponsor to help us with fuel for our OWN BIKES that we use every night. Anyone who feels they have skills that maybe useful and can devote 1 or 2 hours a month would be most welcome.
